Here are the Area Track results:

 Boys are Area Runner-Up with a 2nd place finish overall!

Girls finished 10th overall.


The following athletes are all Regional Qualifiers:

Pati Ponce 2nd in 1600m and 3rd in 3200m

Carley Perdue 3rd in 100m

Caden Harlow 1st in 800m and 2nd in 1600m

Pato Ponce 2nd in 3200m and 3rd in 1600m

Austin Stone 3rd in 3200m

Casey Grant 2nd in Long Jump, 2nd in 110 Hurdles, and 4th in 300 Hurdles

Boys' 4x200 Relay 4th of Travis Bowen, Derek Plumley, Caden Harlow, Casey Grant

Boys' 4x400 Relay 4th of Seth Wortham, Jordan Hall, Austin Stone, Travis Bowen


Regional Alternates include the following athletes:

Teagan Perdue 5th in 800m

Carley Perdue 5th in 200m

Pato Ponce 5th in 800m

Casey Grant 5th in Triple Jump

Sage Carlisle 5th in Pole Vault


The Region II-A Track & Field Championships are April 26th and 27th at Angelo State University.  


Regional UIL results are in today, and here is how we fared:

Number Sense:
We were represented by a team of 3 : Austin Stone, Sonny Hennig and Amanda Dannheim.
They got 3rd place as a team!
Sonny Rey achieved 2nd place and will ADVANCE to STATE!

Computer Applications:
Ashlynn Hall was our representative. We didn't place, but learned a lot!

The team was Sonney Rey Hennig, Ashlynn Hall, Tiffany Timmerman, and Gentry Hill.
We grabbed First Place Team!
Sonny Rey was first place in the region individually, as well as in each category (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics).
Ashlynn tied for sixth.
A team of Sonny, Ashlynn andTiffany will advance to State!

Social Studies:
Miguel Martinez, Madison Hill, and Tiffany Timmerman competed.

Sonney Rey Hennig, Austin Stone and Amanda Dannheim competed.

Literary Criticism:
Madison Hill, Nadia Benovic and Emillie Ramirez competed.
Nadia Benovic claimed 3rd in our region in a VERY tight pack.
She will advance to State!

The State meet is going to take place the weekend of May 3-5th!

If you have a child in the 6th – 8th grades, please read the following information!


Please sign up for Remind 101! With Remind 101 you will be able to join a texting program that allows me as the teacher to keep you updated with what is going on inside the classroom. I will be sending out reminder texts that will inform you when your child has an assignment due, quiz, test, and so forth. Both you and your child can sign up to the reminder texts!
