Current Position:

I started teaching Pre-K in Paint Rock in August of 2019, 

Previous Position:

I taught 4th grade for 2 years in Ballinger, from 1983-1985

I taught Pre-K in Ballinger for 22 years, from 1997-2019

I’ve been the Pre-K teacher at Paint Rock 2019-present

My earlier work experience includes: secretary, jewelry store salesperson, day care, catering, church cook, ranch work, and small business owner (Sandwich Shop), And don’t forget wife and mother! I stayed home with my kids in between teaching 4th grade and pre-k. I came back to teaching after my  children were all in school.

Family Information:

I am married to Cliff, and have 3 grown children: Cody Karesa), Courtney (Sam) and Cameron (Jessica). They graduated from Ballinger High School, and all 3 graduated from Texas A&M.  Cody attended Texas A&M Pharmacy school and is a pharmacist at Brownwood Regional Hospital. Courtney attended the University of Houston School of Optometry, and is an optometrist in Graham, Texas. She is married to Sam (Assistand Principal at Graham HS) and they have 2 children (Casey, and Luke). Cameron has a degree in Construction Science and works for Zachry Construction in San Antonio. He and Jess live in Bandera. Cliff and I are empty nesters, but I do have a huge dog named Dakota. We love to visit our kids and grandkids!
