Paint Rock ISD is looking for a Special Ed Director for the 2026-2027 school year. Applicant must be able to oversee the District's special education program, manage associated contracted services, keep up with state compliance requirements, have knowledge of resource and life skills settings, and support special ed teachers and instructional aides. Applicant must hold a valid Texas teaching certificate and have passed the EC-12 Special Ed content exam. Paint Rock ISD is a PK-12 campus school located 35 miles east of San Angelo. Paint Rock ISD is currently looking for a positive and enthusiastic PK-12 Principal to join our leadership team. Paint Rock ISD is located in the rural community of Paint Rock approximately 35 miles east of San Angelo. The District is a PK-12 single-campus district, and current enrollment is at 225 students. Paint Rock ISD offers school housing and competitive pay. Requirements include a master's degree from an accredited university and a Texas principal certificate. Duties would primarily include managing student discipline, supporting classroom management, overseeing all student clubs/extracurricular activities, and promoting a positive school climate and culture.
